Data Deletion Instructions

Last updated: May 9, 2026

This page explains how to remove data that Postmixr holds about you and how to disconnect integrations such as Facebook and Instagram. For general privacy practices, see our Privacy Policy.

Disconnect Facebook, Instagram, and other social accounts

When you connect a social account, we store OAuth tokens and related profile metadata needed to publish on your behalf. To remove our access from inside Postmixr:

  • Sign in at postmixr.com/login.
  • Open Connections (or your workspace integrations settings).
  • Disconnect or remove the Facebook, Instagram, or other provider you no longer want linked.

You can also remove the app from your Meta settings: Facebook → Settings → Apps and Websites, or the equivalent flow for Instagram/Meta accounts, to revoke Postmixr's access directly with Meta.

Delete your Postmixr account and associated data

To request full deletion of your account and personal data we process as a controller:

  • Email privacy@postmixr.com from the address on your account.
  • Subject line: Data deletion request.
  • Include your registered email and, if applicable, workspace name so we can verify ownership.

We will confirm receipt and, after verifying your identity, delete or anonymize personal data tied to your account within a reasonable period (typically within 30 days), except where we must retain certain records for legal, tax, or security purposes.

What we delete

Upon a completed deletion request, we aim to remove or anonymize:

  • Your user profile and authentication data;
  • Workspace membership and settings associated solely with your account;
  • Drafts, scheduled posts, and media you uploaded to the Service;
  • Stored OAuth tokens and connected social account records for your workspace.

Content already published to third-party platforms (e.g. a post that went live on Instagram) is controlled by those platforms; deleting your Postmixr account does not remove posts that were published unless you delete them on the platform itself.

Meta / developer disclosure

If you authorized Postmixr through Meta (Facebook Login or Instagram), you can revoke access in Meta's app settings at any time. Our privacy practices for data received from Meta are described in the Privacy Policy.
