Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 9, 2026

Postmixr ("we", "us") provides social media scheduling software. This Privacy Policy describes how we handle personal information when you use our website and services at postmixr.com(the "Service"). Use of the Service is also governed by our Terms of Service.

Who we are

The data controller for the Service is the Postmixr operator responsible for your account region. For privacy requests, contact privacy@postmixr.com.

Information we collect

  • Account data: name, email address, password (hashed), and workspace membership when you register or sign in.
  • Billing data: if you subscribe, our payment processor (e.g. Stripe) collects payment details; we receive limited billing metadata as needed to manage your subscription.
  • Content and usage: posts, drafts, media you upload, schedules, and product usage events needed to run the Service.
  • Connected social accounts: when you connect third-party platforms (including Meta/Facebook and Instagram), we store tokens and account identifiers required to publish on your behalf, in line with the permissions you grant during OAuth.
  • Technical data: IP address, device/browser type, and cookies or similar technologies used for authentication, security, and basic analytics.

How we use information

We use personal information to:

  • Provide, operate, and improve the Service;
  • Authenticate users and secure accounts;
  • Schedule and publish content to platforms you connect;
  • Process payments and communicate about billing;
  • Comply with law, enforce our terms, and protect rights and safety.

Legal bases (EEA/UK)

Where applicable, we rely on contract (providing the Service), legitimate interests (security and improvement, balanced against your rights), consent (where required, e.g. certain cookies or marketing), and legal obligation.

Sharing and processors

We share data with subprocessors that help us run the Service (e.g. hosting, database, email delivery, payment processing). We may disclose information if required by law or to protect users. We do not sell your personal information.

When you connect Facebook or Instagram, we interact with Meta's APIs according to your authorization and Meta's terms. Meta may process data under its own policies.

Retention

We retain information while your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, comply with law, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. You may disconnect social accounts or request deletion as described in our Data Deletion page.

Security

We use industry-standard safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

International transfers

If we transfer data across borders, we use appropriate safeguards where required (such as standard contractual clauses).

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing, and to data portability. Contact privacy@postmixr.com to exercise these rights. You may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

Children

The Service is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and adjust the "Last updated" date.
