How this free LinkedIn post scheduler works
Pick a profile or company page, draft your post (up to 3,000 characters), choose a media type, set visibility, and select a publish time. The form mirrors the fields Postmixr sends to the LinkedIn UGC API when it publishes a scheduled post on your behalf.
LinkedIn post character limit
LinkedIn feed posts allow up to 3,000 characters. The first three lines (around 140–210 characters depending on device) are shown above the "see more" fold, so put your hook there.
Scheduling LinkedIn company page posts
Switch Author to Company to schedule for a page where you are an admin. Personal-profile posts use a different LinkedIn URN scheme; both are wired into Postmixr after sign-up.
- Visibility "Public" maps to LinkedIn's anyone audience.
- Visibility "Connections" maps to connectionsOnly on personal posts; not applicable to company pages (which are always public).
- Article / link posts auto-generate a preview card at publish.
