How this free Instagram Reels scheduler works
Upload a vertical Reel video, draft a caption, optionally set a cover image and trial-reel flag, then pick a publish time. Postmixr publishes via the Instagram Graph API on your schedule — no need to post manually from your phone.
Connect a Business or Creator account after signing up free. Personal accounts cannot use third-party Reels scheduling.
Instagram Reels video specs
Reels work best at 1080×1920 (9:16 vertical) in MP4 or MOV format, up to 90 seconds. Keep faces and text in the center safe zone so UI overlays do not cover them.
- Toggle "share to feed" so the Reel also appears on your profile grid.
- Use trial reels to show the video to non-followers first — useful for testing hooks.
- Add a cover image so the Reel thumbnail looks polished in your profile grid.
